Wrestling Mission Statement

We, members of Sheldon Wrestling, acknowledge we are in control of our lives. We are an organization that instills trust, integrity, peace, and love in our lives and in the lives of others. We are a successful program because we take accountability for our attitudes and the decisions we make. We are a proactive and positive organization because we focus on our strengths and the things we can control.

Success is a lifestyle and we define success as progressively improving in all areas in life.  Vince Lombardi said it best, “Winning is not a sometime thing; it’s an all the time thing. You don’t win once in a while; you don’t do things right once in a while; you so them right all the time. Winning is a habit”. Our success is determined how we perceive challenges and obstacles. We will hold our heads high and shoulders back as we march to victory. We will learn from our mistakes and continue to move forward in pursuit of excellence.

Sheldon Irish, we are a family who earns the respect and trust of others by committing to the things we say. We support the needs of others and encourage honesty, dedication, persistence, and a positive attitude. We love and demonstrate respect for one another, by listening to every voice because we are important and valuable to the family. Together, we are successful because we are consciously aware of our actions and concentrate on the present moment.  We are winners! We are champions! Go Irish!
