The Fighting Irish are coached by Head Coach Kandice Feola who is in her sixth year of coaching at Sheldon. In 2006 Kandice coached the Junior Varsity, and assumed her role as Head Varsity Coach in 2007. Last season the Irish won their Southwestern Conference Hybrid and then went on to earn a 5th place trophy at the State Tournament.
The Varsity team will be returning 9 outstanding athletes including 1st Team All-League, Senior Middle Natalee Godfrey, 2nd Team All-League, Junior Hitter Shelby McCool, Honorable Mention Junior Setter Sam Rouleau, Seniors Natalie Kruska, Laken Johnson, Payton French, Katie Fortunaand Juniors Sophia Roberts, and Sabrina Wheelhouse.
Allix Strahon, former Sheldon Volleyball player, will be entering her second year as our JV1 Head Coach and in charge of our summer conditioning programs.
Norm Combs will be entering his 11th year with the Irish and is undoubtedly the glue that keeps this program together. He handles the JV2 team with high expectations and technical coaching that sets us up for continued success year after year. We are very fortunate!
