Athletic Trainer

The Irish Athletic Training Program is responsible for the delivery and coordination of athletic health care to all eligible student-athletes. Services provided include prevention, evaluation, and management of injuries and illnesses, injury rehabilitation, athlete education, ImPACT testing, event and practice emergency coverage, and referral services for injury, illness and mental health. The program also provides an educational opportunity for students interested in learning about and obtaining experience in a sports medicine setting. The Irish Athletic Training Program is administered by an Athletic Trainer.

The Irish Athletic Training Program continues to manage sports concussions according to the most current scientific guidelines and best medical practices through education, proper evaluation, timely referral, and the offering of neuropsychological testing.  You can view a description of our current program in the following document.  The ImPACT permission form is also available here.
